At the Upper Room, we are constantly striving to realize the kind of life we were all born to live - a life of authenticity and humility modeled by Jesus Christ. In pursuit of spirituality, we pray, worship, and seek out the best practices of ancient and contemporary Christianity.

Sunday seminary

Sunday Seminary is a rare chance to learn how to become an apprentice of Jesus in this cultural moment. We study scripture, theology, culture, church history. We dialogue about scripture and spiritual classics. Always our goal is to see more clearly what God is up to in Jesus and how the gospel is intended not just to get us to heaven after we die but to get the kingdom of heaven into us and our world before we die.

Three different courses have been designed especially for Upper Room in the first 1/3 of 2022:

Current: Conversation about community formation using Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book, Life Together.
Coming April 16: How to read and study the Bible
Coming May 21-28: Relational Reconciliation: Study of the book of Philemon
